Bluewater System Design was built on nearly 30 years of experience in the marine industry and a simple belief: quality workmanship, technical expertise, and honest communication should never be the exception.
Our background spans nearly every aspect of the marine industry, from hands-on technical work and complex system installations to service management and marine operations. Along the way, we’ve developed a deep understanding of not only how individual systems work, but how they interact and perform together in real-world conditions.
Our technical qualifications include ABYC Master Technician certification, with credentials in Marine Electrical, Advanced Marine Electrical, Marine Systems, HVAC, and Corrosion. We also hold NMEA Advanced Marine Electronics Installer (MEI) and NMEA 2000 certifications, along with Airmar Certified Installer and HVAC refrigerant credentials.
We specialize in marine electrical and systems design, installation, integration, and troubleshooting. Whether developing a complete electrical system, integrating modern electronics and power management equipment, or diagnosing a complex issue that others haven’t been able to resolve, our approach is grounded in technical knowledge, careful planning, and attention to detail.
Over the years, we’ve watched the marine industry evolve. Technology has advanced tremendously, but the level of technical knowledge, craftsmanship, and attention to detail hasn’t always kept pace. Too often, boat owners are left dealing with poorly executed installations, recurring problems, inadequate documentation, or service providers who fail to communicate clearly.
We believe boat owners deserve better.
At Bluewater System Design, we take the time to understand our customers, their vessels, and how they actually use them. We believe in doing the job correctly the first time, using proven methods, following established industry standards, and never cutting corners simply because the finished work will be hidden behind a panel.
Just as importantly, we believe in being straightforward with our customers. That means explaining our findings, discussing available options, setting realistic expectations, and being honest about what a project requires. We won’t recommend equipment or services you don’t need, and we won’t pretend to have an answer when further investigation is warranted.
Our goal isn’t simply to complete a project. It’s to deliver thoughtful, reliable solutions that make your time on the water safer, more enjoyable, and less complicated.
Quality isn’t just about what you can see. It’s about everything behind it.
