Every successful marine systems project starts with a clear, well-developed plan. At Bluewater System Design, we use CAD-based design to engineer and document systems before installation begins—allowing us to identify challenges, coordinate components, plan wiring and connections, and create a cleaner, more serviceable finished system. For our local installation projects, most projects include a detailed system schematic as part of the process. These drawings don't disappear when the installation is complete. They become a valuable onboard reference, making it easier to understand the system, locate components, trace wiring, troubleshoot problems, and perform future service or upgrades.
Design Services — Wherever Your Boat Is
Our design capabilities aren't limited to projects we install ourselves. Bluewater System Design provides standalone marine electrical and systems design for boat owners, boatyards, technicians, and service providers regardless of location. We can develop the system remotely and provide the documentation needed for installation by an owner, local yard, or other qualified service provider. This gives customers access to experienced marine systems design without requiring the vessel to be located in New England. Our drawings are designed for the people who actually have to use them. In addition to clear CAD schematics, we incorporate images of individual components where appropriate, making equipment easy to identify and helping bridge the gap between a technical drawing and the physical installation onboard. From a single system upgrade to a larger integrated electrical or power system, our philosophy remains the same:
Design it first. Document it clearly. Build it right.
